Appearance: A small kitten with white undercoat and gray on top. She also has black stripes starting on the back of her head, going down her back, and ending on her tail. She has big eyes, and while they don't appear to have any color, the pupils are still like cats', vertical slits that dilate to fill the white when she's excited, playing, or "hunting".
Personality: Like any kitten, Chi is very curious about her surroundings, often times getting into a lot of trouble investigating. Though she tries to be brave, many things still scare her, such as sudden noises or movement, Mommy's scary face or dogs. Though shy when she was first adopted, Chi gradually opens up to her new family and begins to act more confidently, jumping up on windows, eating plants, and playing with just about everything she can get her paws on. Chi is very protective of her things and family. When a big black cat came in the house, she failed in stopping him from eating her food, and then sitting on her cushion, as, while she did his and bear her claws, she was also very scared at the same time. Chi basically thinks she is a person, and has many human traits she exhibits, such as stating the honorary thanks before eating, or carrying on conversations with her family, even though they can't understand Chi speak. Chi normally refers to herself in third person- "Chi is hungry", etc.
Abilities: Cat stuff? Um, she's got claws, teeth, and can jump. She still fails at stalking and pouncing though. Personality abilities would be her protectiveness over her things and family, her determination is very strong as well. If she wants something, she's going to keep trying to get it till she does. While her pouncing and stalking skills aren't that great, she does know how to, and will probably improve greatly with practice. She can also figure out some lesser problems, say, "If I jump on this box, then that box, I can get to the window!"
Weaknesses: She's very skittish and scares easily. She's wary of anyone outside her family, and, while she eventually gets along with "Blackie", other cats or especially dogs will put her on edge. Because Chi thinks she's human, she's not aware of her cat limitations, or the fact that she is a cat, for that matter. She thinks she can do everything her family can, and really, she can't.
Manhattanite or outsider? Outsider
History: Chi was walking with her mother and siblings one day and became lost. Wandering about trying to find them, she was in turn, found by a little boy, Youhei and his mother. Because she was too young to be away from her mother yet, they took her to their apartment, and tried to find a home for her. Youhei called her "Chi" which can translate to small, and she mistook it for her name, which stuck. Unable to find a home for her, the family adopts Chi, even though their apartment building doesn't allow pets. Settling into her new home, Chi has many adventures including a trip to the vet's, (where she promptly flips out from all the strange people touching her and poking things in her butt and whatnot), getting a bath, discovering the joy of milk, and making friends with an adult cat she calls "Blackie". Blackie is pretty patient with Chi, especially after she starts following him. He teaches her how to pounce on prey, (though, she scares it off), how to mark territory, (Chi is too young yet, but she tries to make some weeds "hers"), and what to do if another cat comes into your territory. They also agree that while they can get mad at their respective families, neither one is about to leave them, especially not at dinner time. The family has a tough time trying to hide Chi sometimes, as, her constant antics tend to take place when the landlady's about! She hasn't found Chi yet, however, Blackie has been spotted many times stealing peoples food and in peoples yards. Whenever the landlady brings up the subject of cats Mommy and Daddy get nervous, but, it's always concerning Blackie.
